  • An Alabama trial judge ordered convicted ex-HealthSouth CEO Richard Scrushy to pay shareholder plaintiffs $2.876 billion in damages after a trial.

    Judge Allwin E. Horn, III also ordered that "all employment agreements between Richard M. Scrushy and HealthSouth’are hereby declared rescinded and void," including his 1986 employment agreement, his 1998 and 2002 employment and retirement agreements,
