A federal jury in Miami convicted a former gang member of conspiring to provide material support to al Qaeda and its terrorist members, providing material support to al Qaeda, and conspiring to murder kidnap and maim people abroad.
The jury’s verdict was unanimous, and delivered after less than two days of deliberations.
They are currently scheduled for sentencing on December 5, 2007.
