The federal indictment of ‘Scooter’ Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney’s former Chief of Staff, on charges that he 1) allegedly lied and gave false testimony to a grand jury hearing testimony regarding the leak of former covert CIA agent Valerie Plame’s identity, and 2) allegedly lied and obstructed justice in his statements to F.B.I. agents who were investigating the leak as well. |
